Sara Brown (she/her) is a certified expressive arts therapist, artist, and arts educator who works in private practice with clients of all ages. She is fascinated by the healing potential of creative exploration for both individuals and communities. Sara strives to cultivate a playful and supportive environment for her clients where they can safely explore their emotions, take risks, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Sara also has experience facilitating creativity groups, teaching visual arts classes for adults and children, and leading arts focused team building events in Vancouver. She obtained her certification in expressive arts therapy from the Vancouver School of Expressive Arts Therapy and has also studied drawing and painting at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, and at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. In addition to her private practice, she continues to facilitate workshops and classes, and makes her own art. Sara is a registered therapeutic counsellor (RTC) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada.
